Tom Phillips currently lives in Wentzville, Mo with his wife Jennifer and two children Evelyn and Lucas.  Tom currently works for the Department of Defense at the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) as a Contract Specialist and has been a Contract Specialist for 8 years.  Tom is also a member of the Missouri Army National Guard and enlisted in 2010 as a Medic.  In 2018 he completed Officer Candidate School and was commissioned as a Transportation Officer. 

Currently he is the Commander for the 1241st Transportation Company in

Monett, Missouri.  In 2019 he started working with Veterans and Athletes

United while attending Basic Officer Leadership Course at Fort Gregg-Adams (formerly, FT Lee.)  Since volunteering at VAU has worked multiple events with the VAU Fallen Heros Memorial.  Tom helps coordinate moving the Western VAU Fallen Heros Memorial to and from events and storing the Memorial when it is not traveling.
